Updated Hardware

I love the details that can change and update a room easily. I say easily, but for this project, my husband graciously did most of the work!

The old doors looked a bit dated, in my opinion, because they all had the shiny, gold hardware. I had seen other people buy new doors and hardware to update, but when moved in we didn’t want to spend that kind of money. I asked if we could paint the door knobs (after I priced out the other costs)! Bill did a great job, with minimal sanding done by myself, to take the hardware apart, sand it all down, and paint the all of pieces. After over a year, the finish on our updated look is still saving us money and going strong!
